Every generation spends credits, and the cost depends on the model and settings you pick. Text and image models have a fixed cost per generation, while video models are priced by resolution and duration. The exact cost is shown before you start a task, and credits are only deducted when the task is submitted.
2
Do unused credits roll over?
Subscription credits are granted at the start of each monthly cycle and expire at the end of that cycle, so they do not roll over. Credits bought as a top-up pack never expire. When you have both, we always spend the credits that expire first, so your purchased credits stay untouched for as long as possible.
3
Am I charged for a failed generation?
No. If a task ends in failure, the credits it reserved are returned to your balance automatically. A scheduled job re-checks every pending refund, so a temporary provider outage cannot leave credits stuck.
4
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing charges 10 months up front for 12 months of service, so you get 2 months free. Credits still arrive monthly on the same schedule as a monthly plan, and each month's credits expire at the end of that month.
5
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes. An upgrade takes effect immediately: the rest of the current period is billed proportionally and the extra credits are added right away. A downgrade is scheduled for the end of the current period, so you keep your current benefits until then. You can cancel a scheduled change before it takes effect.
6
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your plan benefits active until the end of the period you already paid for. You can resume the subscription from the pricing page before it ends.
7
Do I need a subscription to buy a credit pack?
No. Credit packs can be bought with or without a subscription, and the credits are added to the same balance. A pack only adds credits, though: it does not include subscription benefits such as extra storage.
8
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payments are handled by Stripe, so you can pay with any major credit or debit card Stripe supports in your country. Klox never stores your card details. You can update your payment method or download invoices from the billing portal in your account.
